Im Rahmen der Sanierung wird die Wärmeversorgung beider Baukörper zentralisiert: Ein moderner Energiecube im Hofbereich auf Basis von Wärmepumpen ersetzt die bisherige dezentrale Gas-Etagenheizung vollständig. In den Wohnungen sorgen neue Wärmetauscher mit Anschluss an das Verteilnetz für eine effiziente und fosssilfreie Wärmeversorgung.
Die Fassaden der Mehrfamilienhäuser werden mit vorgefertigten Holzfassadenelementen mit integrierten Fenstern und einem Lüftungssystem mit Wärmerückgewinnung saniert. Als äußere Beplankung wird eine langlebige Faserzement-Variante mit einer KEIM-Farbbeschichtung ausgeführt.
Die zwei bisher autarken Dachflächen werden zu einer einheitlichen Fläche zusammengeführt und gleichzeitig brandschutztechnisch ertüchtigt. Das Dachgeschoss erhält eine zusätzliche Bodendämmung auf der Geschossdecke – der zuvor vollständig ungedämmte Dachboden wird damit in den energetischen Standard des Gebäudes eingebunden.
Zum rückwärtigen Gartenbereich entstehen in den Obergeschossen barrierefrei zugängliche Vorstellbalkone, die die Wohnqualität spürbar erhöhen und die Verbindung zwischen den Wohnräumen zum neu gestalteten Außenbereich schaffen.

Combined with modern heat pumps, buffer storage tanks, and additional heating elements, this will provide the necessary energy for heating and hot water in an environmentally friendly manner.
At the same time, structural preparations are already being made on the roof to potentially create new living space.
As part of this project, emphasis is also being placed on the renovation of the balconies. RENOWATE is replacing the existing structures with new, thermally decoupled prefabricated balconies that can be easily installed, thus noticeably increasing living comfort in the Düsseldorf neighborhood project.
